Home Performance Advisor Training
Are you someone who loves getting into the detail of finding out why something works the way it does? Do you like to understand how parts of a whole interact with each other to deliver a final outcome? And finally, does the idea of working with home owners (and renters) to make their homes healthy to live in appeal to you?
If you have said yes (or at least an enthusiastic maybe) to these questions, then you should consider becoming a certified Home Performance Advisor.
CEN is part of a partnership from Toimata Foundation and Beacon Pathway to lead the development of a practical training course that will give you the knowledge and skills you need to be able to fully assess the performance of a home.
The Level 1 course provides enough information for people to be aware of the issues and is a pre-requisite to Level 2. The Level 2 course is an intensive two and a half days and arms you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to make an accurate and independent assessment. There is also ongoing support for trained HPAs from those experts in the sector who helped put the course together.
Latest News – With considerable support from EECA and BRANZ, the HPA team are now offering a third standalone and online course that is completed over 4 weeks.
