Community Housing Aotearoa

Community Housing Aotearoa is a partner organisation with CEN. The partnership is based on the jointly held objectives that all New Zealanders should live in affordable and healthy housing.

As the national organisation for our nearly 100 members we work to represent their voice, supporting the growth and development of community housing providers to better help them provide affordable and social housing.

CHA members include full members: community groups, housing trusts, Māori and Pacifica housing providers and tenancy services; and partner members: local authorities, private developers and private housing businesses, who are delivering community housing solutions through-out New Zealand.

Community Housing Aotearoa (CHA) aims to:

1. be the voice of the community housing sector
2. build capacity and foster collaboration
3. promote best practice in housing policy
4. champion quality and excellence
